The Air Jordan 1 (I) Retro Carolina - White / University Blue were released on September 27, 2003, and are part of the Air Jordan 1 (I) Patent Leather line- up.? They feature an upper constructed from university blue patent leather, the blue representing Michael Jordan’s college (North Carolina).? They also feature white inserts, and come with a chrome Jumpman piece. As if the blue patent leather isn’t a nice enough look, check out the clear outsole and Jordan logo at the ankle area! What a beautiful piece of work! They did not sell well upon original release, but have become very difficult to locate in dead stock condition.? They are one of two patent leather colorways produced, the other being the Air Jordan 1 (I) Retro - Black / Metallic Gold.
